Assessment Methods – Doctoral Programmes
Doctoral candidates are evaluated through a combination of applied research and scholarly engagement:
Approved Research Proposal – Submission and approval of a detailed doctoral research plan.
Scholarly Engagements – Participation in two conferences or seminars with reflective reports documenting learning and academic networking.
Doctoral Thesis – A comprehensive 60,000-word thesis demonstrating original contribution to knowledge.
Oral Defense (Viva Voce) – Formal defense of the thesis before an academic panel.
Note: There are no traditional written exams in the doctoral programme.

Research Experience – Evidence such as peer-reviewed publications, academic projects, or independent studies.
Academic Teaching Experience – Advantageous, particularly in higher education settings.
Professional Experience – Minimum of 8 years in a relevant field.
English Proficiency – Demonstrated via medium of instruction certificate, IELTS/TOEFL scores, or EIU–Paris in-house English test.
References – One academic and one professional reference.
Statement of Purpose – 500-word essay outlining research interest, academic motivation, and proposed contribution.
