The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Data Science (B.S.I.T.D.S.) Final Year Top-Up program is tailored for students who have completed a diploma or equivalent qualification in information technology, computer science, or a related field and wish to earn a full bachelor’s degree.
This program integrates core principles of IT, data analytics, and artificial intelligence to prepare students for high-demand careers in the tech industry. It focuses on the practical application of computing technologies, programming, and data-driven problem-solving to real-world business and research challenges.
Graduates of this program will be equipped with the technical knowledge, analytical mindset, and innovation skills needed to excel in rapidly evolving fields such as data science, software development, cybersecurity, and IT project management.
Each module is evaluated through a final Application-Oriented Assignment (AOA) of 2,500–3,000 words. These assignments are designed to:

Evaluate analytical and critical thinking skills
Measure problem-solving abilities in real-world scenarios

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
Academic Qualifications: Hold a Level 5 qualification, advanced diploma, or associate degree in IT, Data Science, or a related field.
Other Qualifications: Relevant post-secondary qualifications may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Mature Entry Route: Minimum of 6 years of verifiable professional experience in IT or data-related roles.
English Language Proficiency:
No test required if previous education was in English.
Others must submit IELTS/TOEFL scores or take the Western Global University in-house English test.
