The Master of Science in Innovative Education and Teaching (M.S.I.E.T.) — equivalent to the traditional Master of Education (M.Ed.) — is a forward-thinking postgraduate degree designed for educators, trainers, and academic professionals seeking to advance their expertise in modern teaching methods, educational research, and leadership in learning innovation.
This program emphasizes creativity, technology integration, and evidence-based pedagogy, preparing educators to lead meaningful change in classrooms, institutions, and educational systems. Students will explore key areas such as curriculum innovation, educational psychology, learning analytics, and instructional design, developing the ability to create transformative learning experiences for diverse learners.
Graduates of the M.S.I.E.T. program are empowered to take on leadership roles in education, policy development, curriculum coordination, and teacher training — shaping the future of education through innovation and research.
Each module in the programme is evaluated through a Final Application-Oriented Assignment (AOA) of 3,500 to 4,000 words. These assignments are intentionally designed to:
Measure practical understanding of key educational theories and concepts
Evaluate analytical thinking, innovation, and problem-solving skills
Assess the real-world applicability of pedagogical models, strategies, and best practices
The programme concludes with a 5,000-word Action Research Paper, which provides students with an opportunity to:
Identify a real challenge or improvement area within an educational environment
Conduct focused, practice-based research to explore causes, patterns, and solutions
Analyze findings and propose actionable recommendations supported by credible evidence and educational scholarship
This programme follows a practice-based assessment model with:
No written examinations
No oral defenses or viva voce requirements
All evaluations prioritize professional relevance, reflective practice, and application of knowledge within authentic teaching and learning contexts.
